Referral Email

What better way to spread the word about your business than to leverage the customers who’ve already purchased from you? That’s why referral programs are such a powerful tactic when it comes to acquiring new customers for your business.

And asking for a referral in your emails is a perfect opportunity to get your customers to share with their friends. But how do you get them to share? Think about what you can offer to incentivize your customers and email list to share with their friends. Whether that’s a discount for a future purchase, an opportunity to win a prize, or exclusive content, there should be something that motivates your customers to take action.

Once you figure out the offer for your referral program, you should think about how this fits into your email strategy as a whole. You should consider your order follow-up emails as one of the top places to ask for a referral.
